Our syllabus.
Our comprehensive syllabus combines the Safar Academy curriculum with carefully crafted material developed by our institution. This unique approach aims to enrich your child's understanding of Islam and, God willing, enable them to shine as exemplary Muslims. The diverse topics covered include Aqeedah (creed), Seerah (prophetic biography), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Salaah (prayer), Duas (supplications), Arabic language, Qaaidah (foundation of Quranic recitation), and Quran with Tajweed (correct pronunciation). Through this curriculum, we strive to nurture your child's fundamental Islamic knowledge and spiritual growth.
The journey begins with children learning to recognize Arabic letters and mastering their correct pronunciations. As they progress through the Qaaidah, they will gradually develop their reading skills to the point where they can confidently read complete sentences in the Arabic language, even including excerpts from the Quran. Our methodical approach ensures that children build a strong foundation, empowering them to engage with Arabic texts with fluency and comprehension.
Our primary focus is to help children achieve fluency in reciting the Quran with the correct Tajweed rules. Through dedicated practice and guidance, we aim for each child to recite from any part of the Quran with precision in Tajweed and exceptional fluency. Only when a child has attained this level of confidence and proficiency will they be ready to progress to Hifzul-Quran, which involves memorizing the Quran. This ensures that the foundation of their recitation is strong and accurate before they embark on the noble endeavor of Quran memorization.
Our Hifzul-Quran approach involves guiding children to memorize the Quran from Juz 30 onwards. Lessons include new memorization and regular revision of previously learned portions. Our ultimate goal is to nurture Huffaz who embody the teachings of the Quran and serve as ambassadors of Islam.
Our high-quality Arabic language education is facilitated by qualified Arabic-speaking teachers. The curriculum focuses on mastering speech fundamentals, using "Al-Arabiyyah bayna yadayk" as a core resource. Children progress in speaking, reading, and writing, gaining access to Islamic literature and Arab culture. Our goal is to equip them with language skills to connect with the global Muslim community and appreciate Islamic heritage.
Our syllabus is carefully designed to teach children essential daily Duas, supplications for Salah, Janazah, seeking closeness to Allah, and engaging in Dhikr. As they progress in Quranic studies, they will also memorize selected Surahs alongside their Duas. Through this holistic approach, we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who exemplify Islamic principles and become beacons of faith in their communities.
Our comprehensive curriculum covers Fiqh, Aqeedah, Stories of the Prophets, Islamic History, Practical Demonstrations of Salaah, and other important aspects of Islam. We aim to equip children with a deep understanding of their faith and help them embody its teachings in their daily lives. Through interactive learning experiences, we nurture confident and informed Muslims who serve as ambassadors of Islam in society.
